12/25/13 - Santa came to Japan!

Santa came! Juju was very excited finding cookies and milk which we prepared for Santa last night were taken! :) Looked like Santa had a cooky and drank some milk!  Also, Juju was happy that Mommy let Juju have Santa's left over Buzz Lightyear cookies and milk for breakfast :)

Juju had a busy schedule today! After opening Christmas presents, Juju went to Gymnastic class with Mommy, then visited to Great Grandpa's grave.
ジュジュのクリスマスはとっても忙しい。プレゼント開けた後は、親子体操クラスに行ってきました。そして、ひいじいちゃんのお墓参り。その後は、竹葉亭でランチです！

Gourmet Juju ate a lot of Unagi & rice :) 「おいし〜！」と言っていっぱい食べました。

Julian's Christmas has not done yet. We will have Christmas party tonight :)

12/23/13 - 七五三参り- Shichi Go San

"Shichi Go San" means "Seven Five Three". Girls of age three and seven and boys of age three and five are celebrated on Shichigosan, and it is prayed for their good health and growth. Shichigosan takes place on November 15 and is not a national holiday. On November 15 or the closest weekend, the young people visit a Shinto Shrine dressed up in kimono or suits (boys). We celebrated Julian's Shichi-Go-San today in December :)

Juju, Ji-Ji (Grandpa), Didi, and Mommy went to Sumiyoshi-Taisha Shrine for Julian's "Shichi Go San" prayers. We received prayers for Julian's healthy growth and happy futures at the Shrine. Julian was very grumpy while the payers were performed, and wanted go out to chase pigeons ...... (>_<;)

住吉大社に1ヶ月遅れで七五三参りに行ってきました。ジュジュはスーツのパンツがチクチクして、嫌がってはかないと言い張り、マミーは大急ぎでパンツのしたに履くタイツを買いに走りました。 折角買ったブーツを嫌がって、スーツにアディダスのスニーカー。神社でお祓いしていただいてる間も、外に出て鳩と遊びたいと騒ぐジュジュ。七五三のお祓いはヤンチャ坊主によい効果がある？....といいのですが......

12/22/13 - 東映太秦映画村 - Touei Uzumasa Movie Museum

We went to Touei Uzumasa Movie Museum today. Juju had another great day in Japan.

今日はディディ夫妻が太秦映画村へ連れて行ってくれました。ジュジュいっぱい走って、登って、遊んで思いっきり楽しみました。ジュジュいわく、映画村は ”Great!" (すばらしい！)そうです。

12/21/13 - Julian's Hair Cut in Japan

Juju got haircut today at Mommy's favorite hair salon "r;e and so" in Japan.
Now Julian got a cool hair style! It is much better than one Mommy usually gives him at home :)

ジュジュもマミーのお気に入りのヘアーサロンでカットしてもらいました。 散髪用ケープと椅子を断固拒否したジュジュは、ケープなしでマミーに抱っこでカット開始です。

 途中、髪の毛が襟元からはいって、チクチクしてきたジュジュ。

T−シャツ脱いだら、ご機嫌です。

Because Juju refused wearing cape thing, hair got into his T-shirt, and made him Itchy :(
