11/27/11 - Julian's 1st Sit Up

Today Mommy took Julian to doctor one more time. This time, Mommy convinced doctors that they must find out what really causing Julian's high fever! "Enough wait and see"! Mommy couldn't see poor Julian's suffering by the fever anymore!
The Dr. did some tests and found out Julian had urinary track infection.
The doctor prescribed anti-biotics to Julian, and it immediately worked!! Julian has no more fever, and felt much better!!

Then suddenly Julian started sit up in crib! OMG!!


Juju~!! How did you learn this ?!!


He was very vocal and speaking "Julianese" :)

11/27/11 - Julian's Baby Talk

Recently Julian has been very talkative and speaks his own language very well. 

We just don't know what he is saying yet..... :) 

Also, Julian likes making raspberry sounds so much, 

and he is a master of the sound, and does it all the time.

ジュリアンは最近とってもおしゃべりです。

でも、何を言ってるのかは、まだわかりませんが..... :)

 そして、唇でブリブリ〜って音を出すのがとってもお得意でお気に入り。

とにかく、ずっとブリブリ〜ってやってます（＞＿＜）

11/27/11 - Thanksgiving Holiday with Julian's Fever

It's been 6 days since Julian got fever on Tuesday. Poor Julian still has fever. Julian wants to stay in Mommy's arms, and doesn't want to take nap in his crib because of uncomfortable fever. Sometimes his fever went down to around 101℉, and he felt little better, but it still comes back, and Juju has not felt 100% yet. Pop came over a day after Thanksgiving, and Grandma came over yesterday to check out Julian and gave us some help. Mommy and Daddy are tired because of lack of sleep, and cautiously taking care of Julian. We are hoping his fever will go down to normal range very soon.

Eggplant may help alleviation of fever. 

So, Mommy cooked eggplant & turkey for Juju.

昨晩は、自分のベッドで一人で寝られるくらいよくなってきました。

Julian slept in his crib last night!

Normally Julian is a morning person, and very happy even right after he gets up, 

but he was still not happy in this morning yet.

朝方人間のジュジュ。いつもは朝とってもご機嫌のお目覚めですが、

今日は、まだまだ元気がでない。起きるなり大泣きです。

 Normally Julian is not allowed to play with TV-remote. 

But Mommy let Julian play with TV-remote only today because it is his favorite.

何故か、TVのリモコンがお気に入りのジュジュ。

いつもはさらわせてもらえないけれど、

病気なので、今日は特別に２個ももらって超ご機嫌。

After playing with TV-remote, Juju took a good nap in Mommy's arm. 

Julian is not quite comfortable sleeping in crib by himself because of his fever, 

but he seems getting little better by every nap and good night sleep

11/24/11 - Julian's First Thanksgiving

Today's Julian's first Thanksgiving day, but poor Julian 

still had high fever and was feeling very uncomfortable.

He only sleeps in Mommy's arms and has not slept in crib for 2 days.

tried put him on swing, but it's not so good neither.....

Julian's fever got up to 104℉ in the afternoon!! Daddy and mommy to him to urgent care. After to urgent care center, maybe taking more medicine helped him a little.... 

After much fussing, Julian finally fell asleep in Mommy's arms

Grandma invited us to her place for Thanksgiving dinner. 

Julian's fever got little lower, so we joined the family dinner for a short time.

11/23/11 - Julian's feeling much better

Julian's fever is getting down to 100.1. We still need to be cautious, but at least he is finally resting and sleeping in the crib after 2 days of restless crying & suffering from the high fever.

ジュジュの熱が37度8分まで下がってきました。まだ油断は禁物ですが、とにかくジュジュはだいぶ楽になったようで、2日ぶりにクリブで眠っています。よかった～(^O^)／

11/23/11 - Julian's 7 Month Birthday

Today is Julian's 7 month birthday, but he is still feeling sick with high fever.
He was fussy all day, and didn't take nap and had less appetite.
We took him drive at night, and he slept in carseat for about 30 minutes.
今日1日中熱が下がらずぐずるジュジュ。夜9時ごろ、ドライブがてらダディーをウッドサイドまで送ってあげました来ました。車の中で眠ったジュジュはそのまま30分ほどかーシートで寝てくれました。よかったね。




After the 30 minutes of short nap, continuously fussed until 1:00am. Fortunately his fever came down to 100.3F. Julian finally fell asleep at 1:30am! Mommy tried put him in crib, but miserably failed.... Julian didn't want to sleep in crim tonight!
Mommy hold him in her arms, and he had a good night sleep for a few hours :)

Julian got fussy at 4;00am again, and his fever went up to 103.1F. After being fussy for another 2 hours, got nursed and drank apple juice, he went back to sleep at 6:00am.
でも、30分寝ただけで、その後は、午前1時すぎまで泣きどおし。可哀想なジュジュ。でも、お薬が効いたのか午前1時ごろは38度ほどに下がって、1時半ごろから3時間ほど寝てくれた。クリブに寝かすと泣き出すジュジュ。今晩はマミーとリビングルームで雑魚寝です。

でも、今朝4時熱はまた39度5分にあがり.......

4時に起きてりんごジュース飲んでオッパイ飲んで、散々ぐずって、もうすぐ6時。今やっとマミーの腕の中でウトウトし始めました。



可哀想なジュジュ。早く熱が下がりますように。

11/22/11 - Julian's 6 month check up

Today was Julian's 6 month check up

(Although tomorrow 11/23 would be Julian's 7 month Birthday :)

Dr said Julian is growing perfectly normal and following ideal curve of percentile!

Weight 21.16 lb (9.6kg)

Height 28 1/4 in (71.775cm)

Head Circumference 46.5cm

Waiting for Dr on Daddy's lap with wearing hospital gown

He got a vaccination medicine 

He hated the medicine, but did a good job to take it

Julian got 4 shots including flu shot

Because of flu shot, Julian got fever at night

11/20/11 - Julian's First Seeing Birds and Fishes

Ringo had allergic rash on stomach. So, we took Ringo to vet on Sunday. After Ringo's Dr visit, we checked out birds and fishes there.

11/19/11 - Shopping with Juju at Ikea

Julian and Mommy went to Ikea to buy carpet for Julian's play area in living room

Julian is a big boy now! He can sit in a shopping cart :)

Yay, we got carpet! but....Juju likes playing outside of the carpet.....Why?! :(

11/16/11 - Where is my baby?!! Crawling backward

Julian started crawling well, but he does move backward...

ジュリアンは、ハイハイが出来るようになってきたけれど、

まだ上手に前には進みません。

でも後ろ向きに進むのは、完ぺき！グングン進みます。

11/14/11 - Julian's Happy Bath Time

Julian likes taking a bath. He never cry in the bath. 

He enjoy being relaxed in the Jacuzzi, and often falls asleep.

Also, after the bath he sleeps well at the night.

So, mommy loves Julian's bath time too!

ジュリアンは、お風呂が大好き！シャンプーしても、顔を洗っても絶対泣きません。

バブルジェットで、リラックスしてウトウト寝てしま。

そして、お風呂に入った夜は、いつもよりしっかり眠ってくれます。

なので、マミーもジュジュのお風呂タイムが大好きです！

11/14/11 - Julian’s First Crawling!!

Julian moved forward by crawling!!

He wanted to play with TV-remote so much, 

and he figured out how to move his hand forward to crawl!! 

It was like tackling to the TV-remote :)

Anyhow, he did it!! Good job Juju!

He will start seriously crawling soon :)

今晩は何故かどうしてもTVのリモコンが気になって仕方なかったジュジュ。

TVのリモコンにタックルするような状態ですが、とにかく前進しました！

11/14/11 - Julian's Crawling Practice

Julian's crawling practice is continued. Juju had a fun with Ringo on the floor. Funny things was both sounded like growling :) But when Julian was having too much fun, Ringo got little scared by Julian's high pitch voice, but Ringo was patient and behaved pretty well with the baby.

ジュリアンのハイハイの練習は続いています。今日もジュリアンとリンゴは仲良く床の上です。ジュリアンもリンゴも同じような声でうなったりしています。でも、リンゴは、ジュジュの甲高い声が苦手です。それでもリンゴは、ちょっとビビリながもヤッパリジュジュのことが気になってしかたありません。

11/14/11 - Julian in the Jumper

Julian loves playing in Jumper but his mood changes from fun to sad in a second.
He was very happy, laughing and jumping in the jumper, and a second later he got tired and crying...... :(

Julian loves playing in his jumper so much. He plays so hard and can jump so well in the jumper! However, a moment later having fun, he starts crying :) We don't know why he does that, but he always suddenly starts crying while he is having fun in the jumper.

11/12/11 - Julian's Sign Language

Julian use some sign languages to express his needs.
Grabbing or squeezing hand gesture means he is hungry and he wants milk. When he wants food he taps his laps. Juju is a very smart baby :)

ジュリアンはお腹が空いてオッパイが欲しい時、手をグッパグッパってします。哺乳瓶でミルクを飲んでる時も飲み始めのお腹の空いてる間は、グッパグッパってしています。  もっと、離乳食が欲しいときは手をパタパタさせて、腿をたたきます。ジュジュは、とってもかしこいね　(^0^)v

11/9/11 - This is why it's hard to leave from home in the morning

Juju is a morning person. He is very happy every morning, and give us big smile. While Mommy is preparing Julian's lunch and daily stuff for nanny, he is laughing and playing with his favorite toys in his crib.
