2/12/13 - Julian's Potty Training

Since Juju successfully pooped at toilet at Nanny's for first time, Mommy decided to show him his potty :) At first he was very curiously checking it out by touching, holding up the cup, pushing buttons for music and trying to step on it....Finally he sat and enjoyed reading his book for a while :) Ringo was curiously checking Juju on the potty too.

Maybe sitting on the potty made him want to poop again, when Mommy was taking off Julian's cloth for bath, Juju pooped little bit on carpet without Mommy's attention. Then Juju and Ringo stepped on it by accident ...... Juju told Mommy what's happened by pointing his dirty foot .....Then Mommy noticed the funny smell and found little foot steps from Juju's room to bathroom ..... OH NO!!!!! Lots of wiping, cleaning, and washing involved after that :(

ジュジュは、記念すべき第1回「トイレでウンチ」ができたので、マミーは早速ジュジュにオマルに座る練習させてみました。ジュジュは、オマルの蓋とったり、頭にかぶったりして座るに至るのにちょっと時間かかったけど…その後、自分でちゃんと座れました。

その後、お風呂入れようと思ってジュジュのお洋服脱がしてたら、知らない間にカーペットにウンチ、チョロ〜ってしてた〜((((；ﾟДﾟ)))))))　オマルの座ってたら、もよおしちゃったのか〜？　しかも、ジュジュとリンゴで踏んで歩き回ってて、最悪〜！ジュジュ拭いて、カーペット拭いて、床拭いて、ジュジュをお風呂に入れて、洗濯して...... たいへんなトイレトレーニング一日目でした　（T＿T；）

2/12/13 - Juju pooped in potty!

Juju sat on toilet seat and pooped in potty! ..... Not by choice but he did it :) Juju was constipated and having a hard time ...... Nanny Jen figured it would come out easier at toilet since he was hurting. Juju didn't want to and cried, but Jen sat and holding him. Then he did it!!! Juju felt so much better after that. Juju and Jen did a high five at toilet when Juju did it!

Jen texted the big news to Mommy and Daddy with the toilet picture for the happy evidence (⌒-⌒; )
But Mommy decided not to share the picture here for Julian's privacy :)

ジュジュはトイレに座ってウンチできました〜！ ジュジュは、昨日から便秘ぎみで、ウンチがしたくなると部屋の隅っこで立ったままう〜んって頑張りますが、思うようにいきません… トイレに座った方が出やすい？と、ナニージェンはジュジュをトイレに座らせてくれました。ジュジュ落っこちないように、ジェンは屈んでしっかりジュジュをサポート！ はじめ嫌がって泣いていたジュジュですが、ウンチが出てスッキリです！ ウンチが出た後は、ジェンとトイレで勝利のハイファイブ！

ジェンは早速マミーとダダに記念の証拠写真付きでテキストメッセージ送ってくれました！ ジュジュのプライバシー保護のため、その写真はマミーの宝物としてしまっておきましょう(⌒-⌒; )

2/7/13 - Juju working on his valentine sorting skills.. ;)

Juju learned how to sort candies by colors at Nanny's. He tried put them in his mouth at first.. But Nanny Jen told him not to. Then he put all of them into one container :)..... 

Then Jen showed Juju a couple times and he did it on his own!!

ジュジュのナニーは、ディケアセンター元先生。毎日、いろんなことを、遊びの中からジュジュの教えてくれます。今日は、バレンタインキャンディーを色分けして、袋に入れる練習！ジュジュ、キャンディーを色分けできるのもすごいけど、お口に入れずに我慢できてるとこが特にすごいでしょ！

1/23/13 - Juju doesn't want to sleep

Juju doesn't want to sleep tonight! Mommy tried everything, rocking him, sing songs, read books, etc from 9:00pm but it's almost midnight now but he doesn't want to sleep or even refused staying in the bedroom :( He is crying and banging bed room door to go out ...
なぜか、ジュリアン全然寝ません。9時ごろから寝てもらおうと頑張ってるんですが、すでに3時間経過全く寝る気配なし。それどころか、ベッドルームから出たいらしく、ドアを開けろとせがんで大泣きです〜。

Juju was surprised by the bright flash light of the IPhone, and came back to bed.... still crying.
フラッシュがショックだったのか、ベッドに戻ってきたジュジュ。まだ泣いてます




But he fell asleep in a few minutes after that....!!! Amazing!!
I should take pictures of Juju with flash in the dark room when Juju starts crying and refusing to sleep next time! That may let him fall asleep ?!!
そして、あら不思議?! たった今、ことっと寝ちゃいました。今度から、ジュジュがグズって寝ない時は、iPhoneでフラッシュ使って暗闇で写真撮ることにしようかな？
(・ω・)ノ？？


Anyway, nighty night!

Juju loves Anpanman bowl which Chi-chan got for him at Anpanman museum in Japan. So, as long as food is served into the Anpanman bowl, Juju comes to the dining table by himself, and eats well with saying "Anpan! Anpan!" That made our dinner time so much easier! We don't need to put our extra effort to force him to sit at table anymore!

アンパンマン丼のおかげで、ジュジュは、ちゃんとダイニングテーブルまで自らやってくるし、なんでもアンパンマン丼に入ってるものはモリモリ食べます！冬休みに日本に行く前は、ジュジュを椅子に座らせるだけで大仕事だったのに… 大違いです！ アンパンマン様様です！

1/12/13 - Julian's peaceful flight

Juju didn't cry at all in the airplane of the way back from Japan for 10 hour and half! The flight was delayed for 2 hours was a big help! Juju could play a lot with Grandpa in the airport, and also played at Kids play area at International Gate. http://www.kansai-airport.or.jp/en/service/child/index.html So, when we boarded into the airplane, Juju was already tired and ready to sleep. Juju stayed quietly at his seat and played IPad game unile the departure. Then, he had some milk, and watched Ampanman DVD. When he got tired of IPad and DVD, he drank milk again, and slept for over 5 hours. After he woke up, he watched Lilo and Stitch movie with wearing headphone!  He got several drink services from flight attendants during the flight, and also ate rice balls, omelet, cucumber and Anpanman potato fries which Mommy made in the morning at Grandma's and brought to the flight.

Remembering the flight to Japan which was a nightmare ...... Juju didn't want to stay at his seat, cried and screamed, walked in the aisles back and force so many times.....Juju showed amazing improvement after staying for 3 weeks in Japan.

The returning flight was unbelievably easy and peaceful for Mommy. As a matter of fact, Mommy could watch 2 movies from beginning to end without any distractions! Juju, You were well behaved! Mommy was proud of you!

ジュリアンは、日本から帰って来る１０時間半の飛行機の中、全く泣きませんでした!! 飛行機の出発が2時間ほど遅れ、ジュジュは、飛行場の中をジイジイと散々散歩して廻り、そのあとは、 マミーとゲート近くの「KIX KIDS’ROOM」でも、散々遊びました！　http://www.kansai-airport.or.jp/service/child/index.html

飛行機が出発する頃は、すでにジュジュのベッドタイム、いっぱい遊んだジュジュは飛行機で走り回る元気はなくなっていまったようでした。飛行機搭乗後は、離陸まで自分の席でおとなしくIPadゲームをして待ちました。離陸後すぐミルクを飲んで、アンパンマンDVDをみて、５時間以上熟睡です。ジュジュが、起きたときには、サンフランしスコまで残り３時間！ジュジュは、ヘッドフォンをつけて機内サービスの映画をみたり、IPadでゲームをしたり、全く愚図らずおとなしくシートに座って過ごしました。フライトアテンダントさんに林檎ジュースもサービスしてもらったし、マミーが作ってきたお弁当もしっかり食べたし、本当にいい子でした。

３週間前、日本に向かう時のジュジュとは大違いです。ジュジュは、日本行きの飛行機の中では、離陸前に既に大泣きし、ほんの少しの間IPadのゲームやアンパンマンのDVDのおかげでおとなしくしていましたが、長くはじっとシートに座っていられず、大泣きし、通路を走り回り、とってもたいへんだったのに。ジュジュは日本に居た３週間の間に驚くほどの成長を見せてくれました。着陸直前、寝てしまったジュジュを、抱っこしてたくさんの荷物を持って飛行機脱出は、ちょっと大変だったけど.....　もうすぐ２歳のジュジュの成長ぶりにマミーはとっても鼻高々です。
