Today is Setubun in Japan. Setsubun ("seasonal division") is a festival held on February 3,
which is one day before the start of spring in Japanese Lunar Calendar. Setsubun was accompanied by a special ritual to cleanse away all the evil of the former year and drive away disease-bringing evil spirit for the year to come. Also, people eat the number of beans, which corresponds to own age plus one to wish healthy long life. Julian and Mommy participated Setsubun Service at Buddhist Temple in Redwoody City. Julain had a lot of fun with many kids at temple.
今日は節分なのでレッドウッドシティーの仏教のお寺の豆まきに行ってきました。ジュリアンはお寺に集まった子供達に遊んでもらってとっても楽しく初めての節分をお祝いしました。
